L'ARC is Collège de l'Île's resource center. Here, learners can work with a tutor to improve their skills.
Success is for EVERYONE!
What does our name mean?
L'ARC takes its name from the French initials for:
Literacy: A – Alphabétisation – to improve reading and comprehension.
Success: R – Réussite – to learn proven tips and strategies to improve grades.
Skills: C – Compétences – to develop the skills that employers look for the most.
We work as a team
Instructors, tutors and learners team up to develop effective learning strategies based on individual styles.
L'ARC tutors work individually with learners or in small groups. At L'ARC, tutoring is tailored to each learner's individual needs. Our tutoring can be:
- At the Wellington campus in the L'ARC room
- A videoconference connecting our three study centres: Wellington, Charlottetown and DeBlois
- On line with tutors from Project CAVA
Learners can choose the tutoring style that best fits their needs.
