Wellington, PEI – July 11, 2013 – Collège de l'Île, in collaboration with Island First Aid Services, is pleased to announce that an Emergency First Aid course will be offered in French next Thursday, July 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Wellington campus (48 Mill Road). This course will permit employers to meet their obligations to the Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) for staff training.

WELLINGTON, PEI - July 2, 2013 – With the help of funding from Health Canada and partnerships with institutions belonging to the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS), Collège de l'Île is proud to announce the graduation on June 21, 2013, of the first class from its Licensed Practical Nurse program. All three graduates, Paula Arsenault, Brittany Savoie and Kathy Richard, are already working in their field.

SUMMERSIDE, PEI - June 21, 2013 – During graduation ceremonies at the Centre-Belle-Alliance in Summerside, Collège de l'Île presented college certificates and diplomas for the year 2012-2013. The theme of the event was Un diplôme en main, un avenir pour demain (A diploma today, a future for tomorrow).

Wellington, PEI – March 25, 2013 – Collège de l'Île and its students are happy to announce that they will be offering free mini-lessons on concepts in Word 2010. The sessions will be held at the Wellington campus on March 28 and April 4, 2013.

Students in the Office Technology program will be offering sessions on concepts in Word such as: formatting a letter, inserting an image, headers and footers, creating tables and tabulations and using templates to create posters.

CHARLOTTETOWN PEI - March 15, 2013 – Approximately a dozen Collège de l'Île students are finishing the school year by sharing their experience as students and presenting the Collège's various programs to over 250 immersion students in schools in Charlottetown, Summerside and West Prince.

The first round of presentations took place last Friday, when the students visited Charlottetown Rural and Colonel Gray Schools in Charlottetown and spoke to 5 classes for a total of over 125 students. The visits will continue this Wednesday, April 17, at Three Oaks in Summerside and Westisle School in Prince County, where they will reach over 130 students.
