Wellington, March 8, 2018 - “International Women’s Day is celebrated throughout the world. It’s an opportunity for us to recognize the contribution of Island francophone women to their families, their communities, to the business community, to non-profit organizations and to all areas in which they are present. In this pivotal year, we salute the courage and perseverance of those who spoke out on violence against women in the context of the #metoo movement. Collège de l’Île is proud to contribute to a respectful and safe workplace for all. We are equally proud to contribute to the advancement of all women by providing learning opportunities that empower women here on PEI.”
