To participate in the contest, enroll as a full-time student by February 28, 2020, in one of the following programs which begin in September 2020. Fill out an admission form and indicate the program of studies that you are interested in and you will be automatically entered in the contest.

  • Accounting Clerk
  • Early Childhood Educator
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Resident Care Worker (RCW)
  • Human Services
  • Youth Worker

Contest rules: $2,000 Tuition Credit



$2,000 Tuition Credit is launched by Collège de l’Île and will run until February 28, 2020, at midnight Atlantic Time.



This contest is open to all legal residents of Canada, except for residents of the province of Québec, having reached the age of majority in their province at the time of participating in the $2,000 Tuition Credit contest.

Current full-time students, employees and members of the Board of Directors of Collège de l’Île are not eligible to participate in the $2,000 Tuition Credit contest.



To participate in the $2,000 Tuition Credit contest, you must fill out an official admission application form to become a full-time student at Collège de l’Île by:

To be eligible, registrations must be received before midnight Atlantic Time on February 28, 2020. Collège de l’Île is not responsible for registrations that are received late, lost or ineligible.




There is one (1) grand prize to be won.

  1. The grand prize consists of a tuition credit totaling $2,000 toward registration fees for the chosen program for the 2020-2021 school year. The credit must be used during the 2020-2021 school year. The $2,000 prize does not include the purchase of textbooks or other program fees. The prize must be accepted by the person who was declared the winner.

Prizes are not transferrable, except with the written authorization of Collège de l’Île. Such authorization will be granted solely at the discretion of Collège de l’Île.



The winner of the $2,000 Tuition Credit contest will be chosen by Collège de l’Île by a random draw, after the close of the contest on February 28, 2020. The Collège will notify the winners by telephone or email no later than ten (10) days after the draw. If the Collège cannot reach the winner during this period, or if the winner does not meet the official contest rules, another eligible application will be drawn randomly. Collège de l’Île is not responsible for the inability to reach the potential winner drawn.



The contest winner must meet the Collège’s admission conditions before beginning their full-time program of studies at Collège de l’Île

The validity of contest entries shall be verified by Collège de l’Île. All incomplete applications will be disqualified.

Collège de l’Île reserves the right, at its sole and entire discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the contest, in whole or in part, for any cause or circumstance, in particular in a case where an event beyond its control corrupts or affects the administration, security, impartiality or normal conduct of the contest, such as a virus, a computer bug or unauthorized human intervention.

By participating in the contest, the winner authorizes Collège de l’Île to distribute and publish the name and photo of the winner for advertising purposes without any form of compensation.

Contest participants agree to receive email or postal correspondence from Collège de l’Île in order to obtain information relating to programs at Collège de l’Île.

The prize shall be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be exchanged in whole or in part for cash.

Personal information gathered in relation to the contest shall be used solely for the administration of the contest and for related purposes.
