Participants will have a chance to win a $2,000 credit

WELLINGTON, PEI, November 29, 2015 – Collège de l'Île invites potential students and their parents to an open house at its Wellington centre next Monday, December 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The name of participants in the open house will be added to the draw for a tuition credit of $2,000 for the 2016-2017 school year.

WELLINGTON, PEI, November 20, 2015 – Whether you want to learn French, to improve your skills or to become fluently bilingual, the next series of evening courses and proficiency maintenance sessions at Collège de l'Île will be starting the week of January 11 in Charlottetown, Summerside, Montague and Deblois. The deadline for enrolment is this coming December 7.

WELLINGTON, PEI, October 28, 2015 – In the coming months, Collège de l'Île will be presenting each of its programs through the personal experiences of instructors, current students and recent graduates of the Collège. Videos a few minutes long have also been prepared to accompany the campaign. The Collège is pleased to present the Practical Nursing (LPN) program.

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, October 23, 2015 -- Provincial funding has been approved, through Workforce and Advanced Learning, to assist in the development of an enhanced collaboration between Collège de l'Île and Holland College, which will include a significant on-campus presence for Collège de l'Île on the Prince of Wales campus in Charlottetown.

WELLINGTON, PEI, October 1, 2015 – At its June meeting, the Board of Directors of Collège de l'Île approved the reappointment of Donald DesRoches as President of the Collège for another three years. The news was made public at the Collège's Annual General Meeting on September 21, 2015.

SUMMERSIDE, PEI, September 28, 2015 – Collège de l'Île held its Annual General Meeting at the Belle-Alliance Centre in Summerside on Monday, September 21st. The Collège took the opportunity to look back at the past year, including the adoption of a new strategic plan for 2015-2018 by the Board of Directors.

Our annual general meeting was held on September 21 at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside, and our 2015 Annual Report is now available for viewing.

WELLINGTON, PEI, August 4, 2015 – Last winter Collège de l'Île participated in a recruitment mission to Mexico, offering potential students an opportunity to come learn French and English at the Collège, with the option to then enrol in a regular full-time program at the Collège. The mission was very productive. Collège de l'Île has already welcomed six students, three of whom have enrolled in the full-time Licensed Practical Nursing program starting in January 2016.

Toronto, July 6, 2015 – At its Annual General Meeting on June 25, 2015, at the Toronto campus of Collège Boréal, the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS) awarded to Dominique Arsenault, student in the Practical Nursing program at Collège de l'Île, a $1,000 scholarship and a certificate of recognition from Health Canada.

SUMMERSIDE, PEI, June 23, 2015 – During a supper held on Monday, June 22 at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside, Collège de l'Île awarded a certificate from the Bilingual Administrative Assistant program to Anne Poirier and a certificate from the Welding program to Samuel Niyonzima for the 2014-2015 school year.

Wellington, PEI, May 19, 2015 – The Réseau des cégeps et des collèges francophones du Canada (RCCFC), of which Collège de l'Île is a member, is offering 25 immersion students a $5,000 scholarship to cover tuition for their first year at one of the colleges or establishments that is part of RCCFC for the 2015-2016 school year.

Wellington, PEI, May 8, 2015 – Last fall, Collège de l'Île invited potential students to participate in a contest to win a $2,000 credit on their tuition toward a full-time program for the 2015-2016 academic year. Allyson Arsenault, who is enrolled in the Practical Nursing program starting in January 2016, is the lucky winner.
