WELLINGTON, PEI - November 26, 2014 –Collège de l'Île invites students interested in a college education to enter its contest to win a $2,000 credit towards their tuition in a full-time program starting in the 2015-2016 academic year.

Collège President Donald DesRoches sees this as a great opportunity for a potential student to save a lot of money. "This contest is a way for a student to train for a career while receiving major financial support. The costs of post-secondary education represent a larger and larger investment, so a credit worth almost half of their tuition is an excellent opportunity to save."

In September 2015, Collège de l'Île expects to offer the following regular programs: Bilingual Administrative Assistant, Accounting Clerk, Early Childhood Educator, Early Childhood Assistant, Human Services, Youth Worker, Resident Care Worker and Welder. The Practical Nursing program will start in January 2016. The deadline to enroll in these programs, and to enter the contest, is February 28, 2015.

All programs offered at Collège de l'Île are in fields where Island employers are looking for qualified employees and they represent one of the best possible investments for making long-term improvements in your quality of life.

To participate in the contest, go to Collège de l'Île's Facebook page and click on "Gagne 2000 $" to fill out a ballot. You can also download a ballot from the Collège's website here. Contest rules are all available on Collège de l'Île's Facebook page and website.
